PASTOR RODERICK HAWTHORNE

Dr. Roderick S. Hawthorne, resides in Virginia along with his lovely wife, Pastor Crystal Hawthorne. Together they have one son, Roderick II; and two daughters, Christian and Ava.

Dr. Hawthorne is a graduate of Hampton University where he received his B.S. Degree in Airway Science Administration with a minor in psychology. Currently, Dr. Hawthorne is the Clinical Director of Divinely Directed Services, Inc. He has been counseling youth and families for nearly 26 years.

Dr. Hawthorne received his Masters of Divinity and Counseling degree from Virginia Union School of Theology. Following graduation, he traveled and studied in Ghana, West Africa under the theme, “Encounters with African Religion and Their Culture.” Dr. Hawthorne matriculated to Howard University where he received his Doctorate of Ministry Degree with the concentration of psychotherapy.

Dr. and Pastor Hawthorne are the founders of Truth Transformation Ministries located in Chesapeake, VA. In October of 2002, they together were ordained by Bishop T.D. Jakes at The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas in which they remain under Bishop Jakes’ leadership and spiritual guidance.

Dr. Hawthorne has a remarkable gift of reaching the hearts of many who find themselves on the fringes of society or at the edge of life’s journey needing direction and purpose. He has an unorthodox style of empowering and teaching life changing principles that will transform your very life. He has been commissioned to “Build Hope in the Lives of People.”
