PASTOR CRYSTAL HAWTHORNE

Pastor Crystal W. Hawthorne, fondly referred to as “First Lady” by the Truth Transformation Ministries partners, currently resides in Virginia with her husband, Dr. Roderick S. Hawthorne, Senior Pastor. Together they have one son, Roderick II; and two daughters, Christian and Ava.

Lady Hawthorne is a 1988 graduate of I.C. Norcom High School. She continued her education at Old Dominion University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health in 1993 and was licensed to preach the gospel in November of 2000.

Dr. and Pastor Hawthorne are the founders of Truth Transformation Ministries, which was birthed on June 23, 2002. In October of 2002, they were ordained together by Bishop T.D. Jakes at The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas.

At Truth Transformation Ministries, Lady Hawthorne is the visionary of DEW Ministry (Divinely Empowered Women), a ministry dedicated to the healing, restoration, and empowering of women of all ages. She also serves as the church’s Youth Ministry Advisor.

TTM’s First Lady is an anointed woman of strength and integrity called by God to minister hope to the people of God. She is a friend who warms the heart by her mere presence, an encourager who lifts the troubled spirit and a leader who with wisdom guides the people of God into all truth. She is steadfast in directing each person into their destiny and purpose. She represents the embodiment of what is good, fine, righteousness and admirable. Her personal sacrifices and devotion of service rendered unselfishly have contributed to the church’s steady growth and progress.
