Purpose Statement

“What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” Mark 10:9 KJV

The purpose of the “My Boo” Ministry is to see marriages grow, glorify God and mature in the word of God as a couple. To help couples thrive in their marriage by providing biblical truths and empowering educational resources to nourish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. This ministry will play a pivotal role in building successful marriages despite the number of years of being married that will manifest a true reflection of the relationship between Christ and His Church.

Mission Statement

To educate, to motivate, and to empower married, engaged, and dating couples to nurture positive Spirit-filled marriages. This ministry seeks to help couples understand God’s sovereign plan for marriage, the roles of spouses within marriage, and the wonderful blessing marriage can be when both spouses are obedient to God’s Word.

The goal is to restore and enrich marriages that will have a major which impact in creating united families, thriving children, stronger churches, healthier communities and ultimately, the world.

Ministry Goals

To strengthen marital relationships through biblical based marriage curriculums.
To encourage couples to establish a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and their mate.
To provide activities, outings, conferences, workshops, retreats and other events that will enhance the strength and equip the entire marriage and the family structure.
To offer enrichment classes and educational tools that will assist in building love, intimacy, sex, effective communication, respect for each other and understanding the biblical precepts of marriage so that God will be glorified within the marriage.
To understand your emotions, attitudes, needs and abilities in order to value others.
To focus on the couples’ faith, family and finances.
To learning how to be committed to praying and serving your significant other.
To provide marriage and premarital counseling that will foster healthy relationships.

The Prepare/Enrich mission is to equip marriage champions, couples, and families with evidence-based skills and insights to foster healthy relationships.” The Prepare/Enrich values include service, quality, partnership, generosity, and teamwork.
