DIVINELY EMPOWERED WOMEN (DEW)

Purpose Statement

“The Lord by wisdom founded the earth, by understanding He established the heavens. By His knowledge the deeps were broken up and the skies drip with dew.” Proverbs 3:19-20 (NASB)

A woman’s self-esteem, self-image, and self-confidence are greatly enhanced as she learns her purpose, various gifts, talents and abilities. DEW Ministry’s purpose is to empower, strengthen, and encourage women to their full potential in God by helping them gain knowledge and understanding of God, His love for them, and His plans for their lives. DEW Ministry encourages women to identify and use their unique, God-given gifts for the purpose of personal growth and harvesting other women for God’s kingdom. DEW Ministry is dedicated to empowering women in various stages of their lives that are seeking spiritual, professional and personal advancement through settings that provide motivation, awareness, and mentoring.

 

 

Ministry Goals

  • To be a channel via the power of the Holy Spirit to women of all cultures, races and nationalities.
  • To create opportunities where women can minister to other women in different facets of their lives.
  • To help women start or maintain an effective prayer life.
  • To provide literature and guest speakers to assist women’s spiritual growth and increase their understanding of health issues that effects their mind, body and spirit.
  • To teach women how to retreat from their busy lives to engage in fellowship and worship.
  • To enhance the overall vision and mission of the church. 


Ministry Opportunity

TTWC creates an atmosphere where women, in all life circumstances, cultures and ages are included and feel valued. We encourage women to fulfill God’s call to a ministry of discipleship, stewardship and servant leadership via networking, teaching, mentoring, workshops, conferences, etc. As the women of DEW Ministry gather on the last Friday of each month to study, pray, and share God’s word, they become disciples of Jesus who impact their family, community, and the world.
